Photo Gallery: Letters To Cleo and Speedy Ortiz live in Boston

Editor’s Note: It’s beginning to look — and sound — a lot like the Christmas, Letters To Cleo style. Earlier this month, the beloved Boston alt-rock band released a new holiday EP, Ok Christmas, and this past weekend (November 22 and 23), Kay Hanley and the boys showed it off (and so much more) to a hometown crowd at The Paradise Rock Club. And they had a little help from their friends, as both nights featured Massachusetts rock band Speedy Ortiz as opening act and Friday’s first night also welcomed a special guest in Greg Hawkes from The Cars. Vanyaland’s Matthew Shelter was at the ‘Dise for that first night, capturing some shots of Letters To Cleo and Speedy Ortiz (what we want for Christmas: a collaboration between Hanley and Sadie Dupuis), and you can scan through his full gallery below.
