New York’s Dreamers have been working their way up Phoenix’s music scene over the past few years. From Valley Bar to Crescent Ballroom to Ak-Chin Pavilion to Band Splash, they’ve been noticed each time they've played around town. On Friday night (October 25), however, they finally passed a massive career milestone: Headlining The Van Buren. While the room may have had some extra space for dancing, all three bands made fans use it. Opening the show was Arrested Youth, who will drop an album this Friday, and Irontom, who recently put out a single. Dreamers’ headlining tour will continue through early December, including a stop at Cambridge's Middle East on November 10.
