Photo Gallery: The National live in Boston

Editor’s Note: Perhaps because they are so easy to find, The National are no strangers to playing for massive crowds in Boston. The New York band have been an integral part of the growth of Boston Calling, headlining twice the annual fest co-curated by Aaron Dessner since its 2013 inception. Last night, Matt Berninger and dem boys returned to town for a sold out show at Agganis Arena, one that showed off not just recent album I Am Easy To Find, but also why the band is considered one of the finest of this modern era. Vanyaland’s John Hutchings was inside the House that BU Built capturing shots of The National’s lively performance, and you can scan through his full gallery below (note: Boston’s Marissa Nadler opened the show, but did not allow photography).
