Photo Gallery: Beantown Uprising with Cousin Stizz, Michael Christmas, and more

Editor’s Note: Red Bull’s Beantown Uprising took over the Artists For Humanity in Southie on Friday night (September 27), and aside from the silly out-of-towner Boston nickname in its title, it showed off our city’s exploding hip-hop scene with a fairly impressive lineup. The night was headlined by Dorchester rapper Cousin Stizz, and also featured local mainstay Michael Christmas, Brockton collective Van Buren, Bearly Yvng (DJ Big Bear & Yvng Paul), and Providence DJ/producer Where’s Nasty. Vanyaland’s Emily Gardner was all over the room capturing visuals from each set, and you can scan through her full gallery below.
