morgxn finds a new ‘home’ with Walk The Moon’s Nicholas Petricca

It’s pretty much assumed that we’ll all be hanging out at Dreamers’ upcoming September 30 show at Brighton Music Hall. But we want to stress, to all attendees, the importance of getting there early in order to catch an opening set by Vanyaland fave morgxn, the Los Angeles-based performer who’s been hustling in crafting his own alt-pop cocktail that destined to combust all over the mainstream.

To get us super-amped for the Allston party, morgxn has today (September 21) unveiled a reworking of his track “home”, aided by a collab with Walk The Moon’s Nicholas Petricca. What was first birthed on stage at Lollapalooza this past summer has since gotten the studio treatment.

“When Nicholas from Walk The Moon joined me at Lollapalooza on this song I felt something cosmic in that moment and the idea was born to make a new version,” morgnx says. “How often do you get to step back on the mic and sing with the feeling of singing in Paris, London, Berlin, Salt Lake City, Sacramento, Chicago, New York, Nashville… How often do you get to sing a song already knowing it has changed your life? That’s this version. That’s this HOME”

Well hot damn. Peep all morgxn’s live dates below.
