Photo Gallery: Boston Calling Music Festival 2018

Editor’s Note: Whew — Boston Calling 2018 is in the books. And what a weekend it was around the Harvard Athletic Complex. The festival’s ninth edition was its most ambitious yet, packing three stages with live music over the course of three days (May 25 to 27), filling its on-site Arena with a rousing schedule of comedians, podcasters, and Natalie Portman’s curation of special live performances. The festival grounds were a veritable playground of art installations, IKEA lounges, and pop-up retailers, and there seemed to be enough food offering spread around the premises to keep the lines relatively short. By our count there were roughly 60 live performances throughout the weekend, from Martin Urbano introducing comedians in the Arena to headlining sets from The Killers, Jack White, and Eminem, and Vanyaland was in the thick of it all.

Want visual evidence? We got that. Want to re-live the good times? We have the snaps.

Dive into our full-on mega-gallery below, of Boston Calling 2018 in its visual form. Photos of the Green and Red Stages by Matthew Shelter; photos of the Delta Blue Stage by Emily Gardner; photos inside the Arena by Jason Greenough; and photos of the various scenes around the festival by Victoria Wasylak. We’re already counting down to next year.
