Photo Gallery: Oh Wonder live at the House of Blues in Boston

Editor’s Note: When it comes to Oh Wonder, it’s truly no wonder that the London-based duo have risen to the top of the alt-pop game. Earlier this year we sat down with Josephine Vander Gucht at Boston Calling to discuss how she and collaborator Anthony West approach large-scale music festivals and the music and meaning of their July album Ultralife, and we were struck by their sincerity and affability. After seeing them at Harvard’s outdoor space in the middle of the afternoon, we knew the real treat was experiencing their fresh brand of organic electronic-pop in a proper club, and so we rolled over to the House of Blues Friday night (September 22) to drink in the marvelous intrigue of Oh Wonder. Matthew Shelter hit up the Lansdowne Street venue — which had a lined stretched down the street very early in the evening — on behalf of Vanyaland to capture some visuals, and you can view his full gallery below.
