Studio 52 is a community artist space located in the heart of Allston, and is proud to support the Boston music scene and local artist community.

We ventured outside this morning, and we think — we think — spring is finally here, which in true Boston fashion means that summer and all its oppressive ways should arrive by the weekend. No matter, we just want to be outside, and the July lineup for the monthlong North Point Nights series has us jonesin’ for the great outdoors.

On tap for what’s billed as a free, family- and pet-friendly atmosphere in East Cambridge near the Lechmere MBTA stop: Jesse Dee and The Silks (July 6), Township and Sun Parade (July 13), and The Macrotones and Soggy Po’ Boys (July 20). The bands for the fourth and final week, July 27, are TBA.

The musical lineup was curated by Atwood’s Tavern booking agent Randi Millman.

As the flyer below suggests, there will also be food trucks, craft beer, and “games” — but that all takes a back seat to bands and the simple joy of actually being outside. Each night runs from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
