Studio 52 is a community artist space located in the heart of Allston, and is proud to support the Boston music scene and local artist community.
Future Islands remain one of the best live bands on the planet, so it’s fitting they’ll be spending most of 2017 on performing stages circling it. Today the Baltimore group announced new dates supporting new album The Far Field, and relevant to our New England interests are a pair of dates that bookend their North American theatre and club appearances: May 25 at Lupo’s in Providence and October 9 at Boston’s Orpheum Theatre.
In between, there are a healthy amount of dates here and abroad, including shows in Europe and Australia, as well as a mid-summer festival run that sees the boys playing New York City’s Panorama Festival, Outside Lands in San Francisco, and the Netherlands’ Lowlands Festival.
Seriously, there are a lot of fucking tour dates here, so fire up “Ran” off the new LP and nod up and down at the full itinerary below.
