Active Bird Community

Not to be confused with any ol’ inactive bird community, Active Bird Community’s (ABC for short) tunes revel in the slack of ’90s lo-fi but keep it fresh with modern indie grooves. Boasting a 12-year history together, the Brooklyn group has been tweaking their sound since middle school. In 2017, the result is their album Stick Around, released this year during the band’s senior year of college.

See them: Maggie Mae’s Gibson Room, March 15 at 9 p.m., and Parish, March 15 at 1 a.m.
