SXSWTF: These are the most ridiculous band and artist names at South By Southwest 2017

Amidst the bustling chaos of 6th Street at South-By-Southwest, some bands will do anything to stand out from the thousands of other self-proclaimed “quirky” acts vying for the attention of audiophiles, free taco aficionados, and music journalists. San Holo

Apparently no celebrity is exempt from having their name twisted into a clever folk band’s name, even if you’re from another universe. San Holo hops on the tongue-twister name trend — like Kane West or JACKIE CHAIN, to name a few — except this electro-madman goes unce unce unce in the night instead of keeping to the usual indie rock mold. The Netherlands DJ goes solo (heh) twice at South By and is featured in the SXSW Trap Nation showcase.

See them: Clearport, March 16, 1 a.m. and Monster Energy Outbreak House, March 17 12:15 a.m.
