Boston’s Agganis Arena has become a bit of a destination lately for big-ticket British indie bands. Next month, Two Door Cinema Club take over the Boston University hockey barn, and now comes in word that Bastille will lead their Wild, Wild World tour through its doors on March 27.
Tickets go on sale Friday through Ticketmaster and Bowery Boston.
Bastille are touring in support of new record Wild World, last month’s sophomore album that had the unenviable task of following up the band’s wildly successful 2013 debut Bad Blood. Listen to recent single “Good Grief” below.
The tour kicks off March 24 at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto and wraps May 12 in North Carolina after a cross-country trek. The lack of Southern California shows and open dates in April suggest Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival is in the cards for Dan Smith and company.
Bastille will perform on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Wednesday, October 12, and this week launch “The Born To Be Wild World North American mini tour. All dates and promo videos are below.
