We’ve long been fans of the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge series, which has been providing bands and musicians a forum to bust out some pretty interesting covers. Last fall we wrote about Muse covering CHVRCHES‘ “Lies”, and now it’s the Scottish electro-pop trio’s turn to get into the fun with their own cover, of the Calvin Harris and Rihanna hit “This Is What You Came For”.
The rendition is what you’d expect from CHVRCHES, but oddly, reaction online has been a bit mixed. Maybe it’s all those RiRi superfans on YouTube protecting her queen.
