Get Connected: Boston Calling unveils festival app, with set times and news updates

There are always three popular questions leading up to each installment of Boston Calling, our region’s bi-annual music festival at City Hall Plaza: 1. Who is playing? 2. What day is each artist playing? 3. What time of the day is each artist playing?

We already have the answers to question 1 and question 2, and today, Boston Calling organizers have unveiled the third via their new app. Available for free download for iPhone and Android users in the App Store by searching “Boston Calling,” the app allows users to “create their own schedule, contains helpful festival details, and provides real time updates.”

It also has the set times for next week’s September 25 to 27 festival, so start downloading. For those who don’t wish to DL the app, the set times will be made public closer to the start of the fest, which kicks off next Friday at City Hall Plaza with The Avett Brothers, Of Monsters and Men, and Gregory Alan Isakov.

The rest of the weekend features performances by CHVRCHES, Hozier, alt-J, Alabama Shakes, Misterwives, Walk The Moon, Father John Misty, Bully, Dirty Bangs, Grey Season, and more. Tickets are still available here. Check the full lineup below, after a screen cap of the new app…
