Unsilenced: Savages release album teaser trailer with Phyllis Rose text read by Henry Rollins


The anticipated sophomore album from British post-punk group Savages is starting to surface.

This morning, the band released a 73-second teaser trailer, which features footage from their January residency in New York City and spoken text by Henry Rollins, who reads from Phyllis Rose’s Jazz Cleopatra: Josephine Baker in her time. Watch the clip below.

Savages new LP, which follows-up scorching 2013 debut record Silence Yourself, is due out sometime next year. Meanwhile, on Thursday the band starts up a string of shows on this side of the Atlantic, including appearances this weekend at FYF Fest in Los Angeles and a gig at the Casbah in San Diego.
