Blur are coming back to Magic America — and this time, it’s ambitious.
The reunited Britpop titans will play a pair of stateside dates this fall: October 20 at Los Angeles’ Hollywood Bowl, and New York’s Madison Square Garden on October 23. Tickets go on sale June 20 at 10 a.m. via blur.co.uk/tour.
Last time Blur were in New York, they played the intimate Music Hall of Williamsburg for a Converse Rubber Tracks Live show. So this is quite the step up and represents the band’s biggest stand-alone US dates in their 25-year history.
In sadder news, we’re told these will be the only North American dates for Blur this year.
