Señores y señoras, the lineup for this year’s Fun Fun Fun Fest was announced this morning, and as expected, it’s a pretty comprehensive affair. The three-day gathering goes down November 6 to 8 at Austin’s Auditorium Shores, and it’s headlined by hip-hop legends Wu-Tang Clan, veteran British black metal pioneers Venom (making their only stateside appearance), and alt-rock titans Jane’s Addiction, who will play Ritual De Lo Habitual in its entirety. The record turns 25 years old this August (yeah, for real).
Beyond that, there’s all sorts of gooey goodness: RIDE, the Charlatans UK, Speedy Ortiz,
Skinny Puppy, CHVRCHES, L7, Babes In Toyland, Future Islands, Grimes, Chromeo, MSTRKRFT, Coheed and Cambria, Desaparecidos, Drive Like Jehu, American Nightmare, Parquet Courts, Benjamin Booker, Viet Cong, Alvvays, the Growlers, King Khan and BBQ Show, Big Freedia, and a billion others.
We won’t list them all. Just look down.
Three-day and VIP passes are available now through the fest’s website. Check the full lineup via the poster below, and fire up the Fun Fun Fun announcement video starring Bill Bye The Science Guy after the flyer.
