Mötley Crüe’s final tour will never end: 21 more dates announced, including New England shows

Sorry Worcester, but you won’t host the last-ever Mötley Crüe show in New England.

The undead hard rock band announced this week they have added 21 more dates to their goodbye tour, including three New England shows: Oct. 16 at Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport, Conn.; Oct. 17 at Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester, N.H.; and Oct. 18 at Cross Insurance Center in Bangor, Maine.

The so-called “Final Tour” hits the DCU Center in Wormtown on August 15. Do617 has the hookup.

Here’s what bassist Nikki Sixx has to say about the extended run, via Blabbermouth: “The demand to add more shows in North America has been overwhelming. The fans have spoken, so we’ve been trying to find time for more dates in addition to the international dates on the schedule this year. We want to say goodbye to as many fans as possible so we added these shows around the holidays. No better way to spend them than with the people who have supported us over all these years.”
