Irish Up: Watch Slaine perform ‘Jump Around’ on St. Patrick’s Day with House of Pain’s Danny Boy

Once again, Boston music owned St. Patrick’s Day.

The Dropkick Murphys played Logan Freakin’ Airport just before heading to Ireland for a pair of shows after a five-gig run at the House of Blues, Street Dogs whipped some Nazi ass out in Anaheim, and Slaine was crowned king of hip-hop with the help of DJ Lethal at the Middle East in Cambridge.

That last bit of business came with the rapper-actor bringing out House of Pain’s Danny Boy for a rendition of ’90s Larry Bird-core anthem “Jump Around” to close out his packed-out Middle East gig.

Watch a fan-filmed video of the performance before, and feel free to jump around.

Jump up and get down.

And while we’re in the mood, check out the House of Slaine mixtape mixed by Frank White…
