Saturday Night Shine: Listen to the bands playing Boston En Masse’s electro-pop party

The four-night Boston En Masse mini music fest kicked off last night at Church, with Boston Hassle taking the reins for a little rock and roll showdown. The Illegally Blind production continues tonight in the Fens with Branded Authentic’s hip-hop showcase, and finishes up Sunday with Allston Pudding’s guitar-rock finale featuring Vundabar, Coke Weed, Sneeze, and others.

But right smack-dab in the middle of those two comes a Saturday night dance party we here at Vanyaland helped assemble, and it’s our turn to shine a light on the beats and treats in store for the rock club come tomorrow night.

Night 3 is dubbed the electro-pop edition and welcomes the alt-dance blitz of Color Channel, the yearning bedroom-gone-global dark pop of St. Nothing, the smooth trip-hop sounds of duo Goldbloc, the soaring galaxy-pop of AVOXBLUE, the spiritual electronic dream-pop of Pale Hands, and the synth-pop bounce of Miss Geo.

When Boston En Masse was announced a few weeks ago, we previewed some of the artists playing, but since then the lineup has adjusted and some others have been added so we’ll simply re-boot the spotlight series down below.

Oh and important to note: there’s no Red Sox game at Fenway Park tomorrow night, so the streets, cleats, and parking lot meats will be properly ghosted.

Let’s dance it up.
