Today’s a good day to go surfing on a razor blade, and what better way to taste some filthy waves than with new Leeds-based garage rock crew Menace Beach.
Headed up by Leeds duo Ryan Needham and Liza Violet, Menace Beach have one of the more anticipated British DIY releases coming up, and new track “Lowtalkin'” proves why. With DNA from bands like Pulled Apart By Horses, Sky Larkin, and Hookworms, it’s is a nice composite shot of garage fuzz adrenaline.
“Lowtalkin'” will drop as a double A-side release with “Tennis Court” via Memphis Industries (Tokyo Police Club, Pure Bathing Culture, Hooray For Earth) come September 1, but you can preview both tracks below.
