We’ll admit we don’t know a whole lot about Oklahoma punk band BRONCHO, but it took about 30 seconds of their new single “It’s On” to put them atop our list of bands to check out at SXSW next month.
This is pretty much our new favorite jam.
We asked Carl Lavin of Bowery Boston last night when he was bringing them to town, and he says he’s been trying. So in the meantime, we’ll turn our attention to the Do512 listings (got plans that Friday?) and fire this slick ’70s-rock boogie-woogie toe-tappin’ slug-fucker up on repeat until then.
That should give us a million plays until we hit the highway. We might even learn a few words other than “it’s on.”
