Music Pulse: Take a ride with ‘Waves,’ the glowing single from Boston electro-pop duo Miss Geo

There’s a bit of an electronic-pop renaissance around Boston recently. After spotlighting the likes of CliffLight and Goldbloc recently, we’ve now fallen in love with electro-pop duo Miss Geo, whose single “Waves” wouldn’t be out of place on Side A of the Drive soundtrack.

That’s some high praise.

The duo of Abby and Paz trace their roots from Newport, Rhode Island, and Paris, France, but Boston is currently their home base. We inexplicably missed their show with Lovers in Cambridge last fall, but Miss Geo in back in Central Square performing their first live show in two months on February 12 at T.T. The Bear’s Place, and no doubt these slick post-modern love songs will still be in our heads come Valentine’s Day.

Meanwhile, we’ve already added “Waves” to the launch catalog of Vanya Radio, so before you hear that on our digital airwaves n the daily reg, check it out via their Soundcloud below
