Studio 52 is a community artist space located in the heart of Allston, and is proud to support the Boston music scene and local artist community.
It’s no secret that Black Beach are one of our favorite rock and roll bands doing business in this grimy town, and we were thrilled to see them part of the excellent lineup for next month’s Starlabfest in Somerville. This week, the Massachusetts trio shake up the dirt with a new garage punk groove shaker called “No Place For Me,” and you can hear it below via Soundcloud.
This new jam is one of three tracks featured on Black Beach’s new record, Play Loud Die, Vol. II, due September 8. The EP was recorded with Paul Kolderie (Dinosaur Jr., Hole, Pixies), and follows-up the dudes’ recent split with Boston’s Nice Guys.
Get hip to Black Beach’s upcoming tour dates below, including a very necessary November 9 show with The Proletariat at ONCE, and blast “No Place For Me” as the moon trades places with the sun.
