Editor’s Note: In 2015, we became enraptured by the dark folk-pop sounds of American Echoes, a Massachusetts-based sister duo of Laura and Nina Ganci, with “Diddle” becoming a familiar daily spin on VanyaRadio’s This Is 617.” Last Monday night, December 21, the Gancis performed a stripped down set, without their usual backing band, at ZuZu in Cambridge’s Central Square, and Vanyaland’s Eddy Leiva was there to capture the imagery.
