Fresh off their headlining performance at Boston Calling Music Festival back in May, My Morning Jacket are coming back to town for a pair of shows later this year.
The Kentucky rock and roll band expanded their fall North American tour to include two dates at Boston’s Orpheum Theatre November 20 and 21 and two shows at the Beacon Theatre in New York November 24 and 25. Strand of Oakes and Woods provides support.
My Morning Jacket’s very aggressive 2015 tour is in support of acclaimed new album The Waterfall, which dropped in May via ATO Records/Capitol Records. It debuted at number 6 on the Billboard album chart. In addition to the new dates and past festival shows like Governors Ball and Bonnaroo, My Morning Jacket will also perform at Lollapalooza in Berlin and Forecastle Festival in their hometown of Louisville.
Fine print on the Boston and New York dates: “Roll call presale for deluxe will go live tomorrow at 10 a.m. EST while digital roll call presale will be up at 10:30 a.m. EST. Tickets will be on sale for the general public on Friday.”
