This year’s Outside The Box music and arts festival is right around the corner, so with two weeks to go before the free six-day event takes over Boston Common, organizers today unveiled its daily schedule.
Among the highlights of the more than 70 bands and performers are the Gin Blossoms playing July 16 on the Beacon Street stage; Nemes, Walter Sickert & the Army of Broken Toys, and others on the Park Street stage July 17, and the headlining Radio 92.9 FM’s EarthFest on July 18 featuring New Politics, Atlas Genius, and Guster.
Earlier today, Outside The Box announced that participants from NBC’s The Voice will cap off the July 15 schedule on the Beacon Street stage. Presented by The Boston Film Festival, the performance will feature 2015 Voice winner Sawyer Fredericks, 2012 winner Jermaine Paul, and some local contestants: James Massone of Wakefield (season two), Palmer’s Noah Lis (season six), and Ria Eaton of Billerica (season six).
