Ever since the spring, when the teaser trailer for Noah Oppenheim’s Primetime landed like a high-dive cannonball and got the internet all wet, we’ve been eagerly awaiting new footage and information about the movie. Now it’s summer, we’re all poolside, and A24’s making its way up the ladder once again. Get your towels, folks: there’s a brand new trailer that just landed today, and holy shit, does this look like a must-see picture.
Primetime is, of course, the To Catch a Predator movie, starring none other than Robert Pattinson as Chris Hansen with Dateline NBC. And you actually get to see footage from the feature in this one — and you get to hear the man’s voice! Surprisingly enough, R-Patz is nearly on the money with his imitation of Hansen’s news-reader staccato, but we don’t think you’ll really pay too much attention to that. Rather, you’ll just feel the gnawing dread that Oppenheim is hinting at. Anyway, just watch the damn thing.

Primetime will have its world premiere at this year’s Venice Film Festival in September—we are hoping and praying for a last-minute announcement that it’ll be at TIFF—but otherwise, you’ll only have to wait a little while after that to see it yourself. It’ll hit theaters stateside on September 25.
