It’s been a blaze of a week for Arcade Fire. The veteran Canadian band released a new album on Friday (May 6) called WE, their first since 2017’s Everything Now and last with co-founder Will Butler, and dropped by Saturday Night Live over the weekend to perform a pair of tracks from it. Included in all the news was word Arcade Fire will be touring the album across North America later this year, and they’re bringing along Beck, who will open the shows on “The We Tour” with an acoustic set.
As far as opening acts go, that’s really not too shabby, eh?
The tour kicks off October 28 at The Anthem in D.C. and wraps December 1 at Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena. Along the way, Arcade Fire and Beck hit MGM Fenway Music Hall on November 8, and there’s a road trip-worthy gig two nights later, November 10 at Mohegan Sun Arena in Connecticut.
Tickets to the MGM show go on sale Friday (May 13) at 10 a.m. EDT; hit the link for all of this week’s pre-sales leading up to the general on-sale. One dollar every ticket sold across the tour will support the KANPE Foundation, a group that supports communities in Haiti.
Get all the We tour dates below, and hear the album and check out their performance of “Unconditional I (Lookout Kid)” on SNL.
