In the case of Ali Wong, the phrase “third time’s the charm” may not apply, but that doesn’t
matter. She’s making her way back with a brand new batch of top-tier Comedy to complete the
trifecta, and we’re here for all of it.
As announced today (February 1), Wong is returning to Netflix with her latest hour, Don Wong, which premieres on Monday, February 14. The new hour will mark Wong’s third stand-up engagement with Netflix, following her highly-praised 2016 special Baby Cobra, and 2018’s Hard Knock Wife.
While the Valentine’s Day release date may or may not be coincidental, Wong is taking the opportunity in her next slate of material to touch on a myriad of topics, as she has been known to do with comedic precision, including a few that line up fairly well with the theme of the day.
It looks like Wong is readying yet another comedy banger in the making as she touches on her wildest fantasies, the challenges of monogamy, and her honest opinion on single people among what we can only hope are more of the brutally honest takes on life, love, motherhood, and the general absurdity she witnesses around her.
