Here are the artists who will perform at the 2019 Boston Music Awards

Via Bandcamp

With less than one month to go until this year’s Boston Music Awards ceremony, the BMAs have unveiled the performers who are set to take the stage at the House of Blues on December 11.

Per tradition, the lineup is stacked with some of 2019’s strongest nominees: Optic Bloom, Roy Juno, Hawthorn, Brandie Blaze, House of Harm, Future Teens, Jefe Replay, Najee Janey, $ean Wire, Lord Felix, and Jiles are all on deck to perform. Amongst all 11 artists, they share 25 nominations this year and represent a major chunk of genres on the ballot, from R&B to folk.

In addition, a tribute to The Cars is also on the schedule. The timing seems perfect for this special set; not only was the group inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame last year, but frontman Ric Ocasek recently passed away in September, making 2019 an ideal year for toasting to the iconic Boston new wave band.

While early bird tickets and first floor tickets for the awards ceremony have sold out, there are still some tix up for grabs on the BMA’s website.
