For as long as we’ve had the pleasure of knowing him, Josh Gondelman has been unwavering and impressive source of positivity within the comedy community. With his next project, he’s simply reinforcing that idea.
As announced this week, we can finally get excited about more Gondelman content on the way as the all-star comedian will be releasing his sophomore special, Positive Reinforcement, on YouTube via Blonde Medicine on June 27. The album version is set to hit streaming services shortly after on July 11.
The new special will be the first we’ve heard from Gondelman in terms of recorded material since the release of his debut special, People Pleaser, on Amazon Prime in 2022, and the new hour finds the Stoneham native deep in pondering waters as it pertains to aging gracefully, as opposed to fighting the clock, while remaining lowkey fiery and contrarian to some cultural norms in the process.
Keep your eyes on this space as clips or further information becomes available closer to the special’s 8 p.m. ET premiere on Blonde Medicine’s YouTube channel.
