This won’t be the first time we’ve experienced a multi-night hometown hullabaloo at the hands of Chris Fleming, and it’s safe to say it won’t be the last. But for now, it’s a pretty good case of déjà vu to have.
Adding a third show over the span of two days, the Stow native will be making his way back home a bit earlier than previously scheduled with a 7 p.m. show on February 6. The announcement of the additional show comes after Fleming’s first pair of gigs at The Wilbur on February 7 filled up quickly, with the early show selling out, and the late show not too far behind it.
Social media personality and podcast host Michael Blaustein will be returning to The Wilbur on March 29 for his second go-around in the legendary venue. Most recently, he released his first full stand-up special, Silly Goose on YouTube. In addition to his work in the studio with the Stiff Socks podcast alongside fellow comedian Trevor Wallace, on stage, and online, Blaustein also wrote and directed the 2019 feature film Up There.
The Bravo channel-centric chaos brought on by Watch What Crappens is in a league of its own already, and hosts Ben Mandelker and Ronnie Karam are bringing that chaos to the masses, with a stop at The Wilbur on April 10 as part of their Mounting Hysteria tour. Catch all the hot gossip and show reviews, jam-packed with the duo’s signature snark and insight.
The legendary Paula Poundstone returns home to Massachusetts for a night at The Wilbur on May 2. Delivering a new hour of material from a seemingly endless stream of hilarity that comes from her critically-acclaimed mind, the Sudbury native continues on her 40-plus year journey as one of the industry’s most well-respected and adored voices, all the while painting new pictures with her heavily observational, and often socially-inclined material. Although she has remained fairly quiet in spaces away from the stage or as a regular guest on NPR’s Wait Wait…Don’t Tell Me!, Poundstone did lend her voice to the Pixar sequel Inside Out 2 in early 2024.
Seemingly always on the move, longtime comedy grinder Aries Spears returns to The Wilbur on May 31. While he hasn’t released a special in a number of years, Spears has lent his talents and perspective to a handful of projects since 2023, with an appearance on the CNN documentary See It Loud: The History of Black Television, as well as a pair of films, The Killers and Holy Cash, in 2024.
Stand-up veteran and Grand Ole Opry mainstay Henry Cho is making his way up north in the new year, with one night at The Wilbur on June 19, as part of his upcoming Empty Nest tour. In addition to Cho’s extensive list of TV credits, the Tennessee native continued to work the spotlight on stages all over the country, all the while staying devoted to bringing his charm and wit to the Grand Ole Opry audience, which has resulted in him being inducted as the 229th member of the iconic venue in 2023.
Tickets to these shows can be accessed via venue pre-sale starting today (December 5) at 10 a.m. ET by using the code VANYA. General on-sale starts Friday (December 6) at 10 a.m. ET.
