With a wild feeling of deja vu, join Bethany Van Delft, Dan Boulger, Nick Ortolani, Gary James, and host Rob Crean as they run it back to celebrate the return of a legendary arts space with a night full of top-tier comedy, all part of the Allston club’s celebration week at sister venue O’Brien’s Pub.

The world is burning, but Alex Giampapa is just riding the wave. Lewis Black at The Wilbur

This is it — one of comedy’s most irate and well-articulated voices is bidding adieu to the road, and his final stops in Boston as a stand-up are sure to be packed with buckets of political discourse, social frustrations, and an innumerable amount of “fucks” to shout. No one has done it like Lewis Black, and his final curtain in Boston will surely be one for the ages.

LEWIS BLACK :: Saturday, September 28 to Sunday, September 29 at The Wilbur Theatre, 246 Tremont St. in Boston, MA :: 6 p.m. both nights, $49 to $89 :: Advance tickets

Anthony DeVito at The Comedy Studio

Under a new name for his hit one-man show, Anthony DeVito returns to town, this time at the brand new Comedy Studio, to bring us up to speed on how the story has developed since his first offering. Sure to be a jaw-dropping adventure in a number of ways, DeVito continues to pour every ounce of his unbeatable storytelling abilities into a heavy story that pack quite a punch from start to finish.
