The fact that we’ve been graced with the return of Ben Schwartz is one thing, but the shining highlight of the whole thing is that it’s a completely new show from what we’ve seen in the past, and given the caliber of talent that Schwartz has, it’s bound to be just as special as the shows before it.
For the third time in as many years, Schwartz is getting a group of his best improv pals together and bringing them to Medford tonight (September 13) for a fun-filled foray at Chevalier Theatre. Fueled by the creative power of “Yes, and,” the film and comedy star brings a brand new blank canvas to town as he proudly wields the entertaining versatility and surprise of improvisational comedy, while simultaneously putting on a masterclass of the art form in the process.
Of course, we’re waiting patiently for the third installment of Sonic The Hedghog to hit theaters later this year, but until then, being mesmerized by Schwartz and his unflappable abilities to create comedy on the spot will continue to get us through.
