At some point in our lives, we all need to find our way home, and The Front Bottoms are providing a new compass as we look towards the close of 2024. The celebrated New Jersey band revealed over the summer a new United States headlining jaunt, dubbed the Finding Your Way Home Tour, that culminates with their annual holiday festival Champagne Jam, which for the first time ever holds court on both coasts.
Relevant to our interests here in Boston is the tour kickoff, a two-night romp at Citizens House of Blues that starts tonight and wraps Friday (September 12 and 13).
Last year, The Front Bottoms released their latest album for Fueled By Ramen, You Are Who You Hang Out With, recorded with producer Mike Sapone both at the band’s New Jersey studio as well as Ghost Hit Recording here in Massachusetts. It reiterated a feeling we’ve had for a while: We only wanna hang out with The Front Bottoms.
