MisterWives, Just For One Night!, October 30
It seems like we’ve been covering MisterWives for as long as we’ve been drenched in pink digital ink, and that’s easy when the New York City alt-pop band continues to reinvent itself. Recently Mandy Lee and the boys teamed with another V fave in Charlotte Sands for banger new single “Other Side,” and it has us fired up for MisterWives’ Just For One Night! fall tour, which plays Citizens House of Blues in Boston on October 30. The collab is part of the forthcoming Nosebleeds: Encore album, which reimagines MisterWives’ 2023 record. “From the studio to playing it live, every iteration of ‘Other Side’ has been unfiltered fun, and the honor of having Charlotte be part of the song took it to new heights!” says Lee. “Her talent, heart, and powerhouse voice are as awe-inspiring as her trailblazing career as an independent artist, and getting to share the stage with her was a true masterclass.” Maybe the Hopkinton native will get up on stage with the band for this show. We’ll see. Tickets go on sale Friday (June 14) at 10 a.m. local time.
