Dutch ReBelle finds an unbothered baseline in new single ‘Namaste’

Screengrab

You’ve never witnessed Dutch ReBelle’s flow like this. For years, the Boston rapper has boasted one the most recognizable voices in the area’s music scene, wielding bars that seem to uniquely bounce around beats by producers like Humbeats or International Show. But in “Namaste,” ReBelle’s new single and music video from last week (May 30), the emcee takes to a yoga mat to unite her spoken flow and inner flow. The release secures ReBelle’s sense of calm after dispatching her early 2024 single “Danger,” returning her to a unbothered baseline; “My flow pop like 3D,” she raps on the Clark D-produced track, unflinching as a ring of flames encroaches upon her mat.
