Editor’s Note: From Divine Sweater kicking things off on a sunny Friday afternoon to The Killers making a Hot Fuss late into Sunday night, Boston Calling 2024 was one hell of a good time.
The three days at the Harvard Athletic Complex provided the type of music festival playground that gave an escapist vibe that messed with the imagination — scaling the House of Dunkin’, quenching a thirst for the after life with Liquid Death, and taking selfies with the mascot pup that’s now as iconic as the Pru — all while dozens of bands both from afar and homegrown soundtracked the weekend with an eclectic and electric mix.
As usual, Vanyaland was in the middle of it all, bringing the field to your feed and highlighting all the things that made this year’s fest so awesome. We published 55 articles from the casual confines of festival’s Media Text, surveying the scene with a wealth of photo galleries, interviews, and observations (and not just fanboy obsessions on Chappell Roan, who brought maybe the biggest alt-pop dance party Boston has ever seen). ICYMAnything, here’s a complete coverage index from all the action this past weekend. — Michael Marotta, editor-in-chef
