Shout, shout, let the new ‘Quiet Place: Day One’ trailer all out

A Quiet Place: Day One
Paramount

Did you know that you can, according to the YouTube description under the new trailer for Michael Sarnoski’s A Quiet Place: Day One “TEXT ‘BE QUIET’ TO 929-202-SHHH (7444)” and experience the day for yourself? We haven’t tried it yet, but we’re sure that some creepy and goofy shit will happen once you do. In the meantime, you can always watch the trailer itself, which Paramount dropped earlier on Thursday, and wonder how the dude who directed Pig wound up taking this project on. What a wild and wacky world we live in.

Peep it:

Once again, the entire synopsis is:

Experience the day the world went quiet.

So, based on that synopsis, we’re assuming it was January 24, 2012. we’ll help you experience the day the world went Quiet by giving you the jacket cover blurb for Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can’t Stop Talking, which was released on that date (it’s a good read!):

“At least one-third of the people we know are introverts. They are the ones who prefer listening to speaking; who innovate and create but dislike self-promotion; who favor working on their own over working in teams. It is to introverts — Rosa Parks, Chopin, Dr. Seuss, Steve Wozniak — that we owe many of the great contributions to society.

In ‘Quiet,’ Susan Cain argues that we dramatically undervalue introverts and shows how much we lose in doing so. She charts the rise of the Extrovert Ideal throughout the twentieth century and explores how deeply it has come to permeate our culture. She also introduces us to successful introverts — from a witty, high-octane public speaker who recharges in solitude after his talks, to a record-breaking salesman who quietly taps into the power of questions. Passionately argued, impeccably researched, and filled with indelible stories of real people, ‘Quiet’ has the power to permanently change how we see introverts and, equally important, how they see themselves.”

Cash money says that introverts would be the only people able to survive the world that John Krasinski created. Find out if we’re right on June 28, when A Quiet Place: Day One arrives in theaters everywhere.
