This Show Is Tonight: Jim Gaffigan goes for a perfect 10 at The Wilbur

Via The Wilbur

After decades of hitting the road hard and filling his catalog with a flurry of highly-praised specials, Jim Gaffigan seems to feeling barely alive. But if 10 sold-out shows in Boston are any indication of the contrary, it’s pretty clear that he is, in fact, still very much thriving.

Starting tonight (April 17), Gaffigan will be sticking around town for a few days as he brings his Barely Alive tour to The Wilbur for an impressive, but not uncharacteristic, string of 10 sold-out shows through Sunday (April 21). Over the years, the accomplished stand-up star has made a habit of quickly selling out his Boston area stops, including stays in 2014 and 2018 which yielded two of his nine hour-long specials in Obsessed and Noble Ape, respectively.

Since that 2018 special taping in Boston, Gaffigan has gone on to release four additional full hours, with Quality Time in 2019, The Pale Tourist in 2020, Comedy Monster in 2021, and Dark Pale in 2023.

JIM GAFFIGAN :: Wednesday, April 17 to Sunday, April 21 at The Wilbur Theatre, 246 Tremont St. in Boston, MA :: Times vary, $59.75 to $99.75 :: Advance tickets
