St. Vincent, All Born Screaming Tour, September 5
And now we kneel at the altar of St. Vincent. The era-defining project of a certain Annie Clark — certainly no stranger to our extensive digital pages — is back with new album All Born Screaming, set for release later this month, and a tour that takes her to Boston’s MGM Music Hall at Fenway on September 5. Joining her this show will be Yves Tumor. We’ve already received a few tastes of the new record, and it’s shaping up to be one we’ll all be reading about again in December; it boasts an all-star lineup of guests, including Cate Le Bon, Josh Freese, Stella Mozgawa, Rachel Eckroth, Mark Guiliana, and David Ralicke. Around the tour news, St. Vincent dropped the pulsating “Flea,” featuring Dave Grohl on drums and Justin Meldal-Johnsen on bass. Not a bad look. Tickets go on sale Friday (April 5) at 10 a.m. local time.
