Want to play Boston Calling next month? kei holds the key.
The rising Boston artist and Vanyaland fave has put out a call for guitarists to join her project and perform live with her at the music festival next month. One of the city’s breakout performers, kei scored Song of the Year for “Berzerk” at the 2023 Boston Music Awards, where she was also nominated for Live Artist of the Year and Hip-Hop Artist of the Year (she also delivered a commanding live performance at the ’22 BMAs, when she scored New Artist of the Year).
At Boston Calling, kei headlines the Orange Stage on the festival’s opening Friday (March 24) slate. And now she’s looking out for a guitarist to augment and amplify the performance.
Here’s what she posted to Insta:
“CALLING ALL GUITARISTS! — i’ve been blessed with the opportunity to put on for the city on one of New England’s biggest stages & i want to pay it forward 🙂 if you’re a ill ass guitarist, i want you to hit the link in my bio, flood the submissions, & show me how you DUMP SHIT! 💥”
Submissions are open until April 8. So go ahead and shoot that shot.
