Latrell James may have named his 2020 EP Under, but there’s nothing under the radar about the project — even three years after its debut.
“Help,” the final tune on the Boston artist’s six-track release, appears in an episode of The Black Beauty Effect, a 2023 TV program that examines the worldwide impact of Black beauty trends. Specifically, the song helps introduce the theme of the first episode — entitled “The Beat Effect” — following the opening credits.
“Been a roller coaster year for me but let’s focus on the positives,” James writes on Instagram. “Always really cool to hear something I created on tv.”
