This past Friday (November 10), Cat Power released Cat Power Sings Dylan: The 1966 Royal Albert Hall Concert, a new live album that’s pretty much exactly what the title implies. The veteran singer-songwriter and Atlanta native will be taking the record out on the road for a North American tour early next year, including a stop at The Chevalier in Medford on February 17, but not before showcasing the goods the other night NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Cat Power aired out the closing track on the 15-song album, the timeless “Like A Rolling Stone,” and hey — it sounds great. Ol’ Bob should be proud.

Fire it up below, and scan through all the dates on Cat Power’s Dylan run, including appearances at New York’s Carnegie Hall (February 14) and the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum’s CMA Theater in Nashville (February 25). Tickets to all the shows go on sale Friday (November 17) at 10 a.m. local time.
