Greensky Bluegrass, Winter Tour, February 2
From Kalamazoo to the world! Greensky Bluegrass may have kicked off their Fall Tour last night in Nevada, but time marches on, and the bluegrass jam quintet are already mapping out their famed Winter Tour. The details hit this week, and part of the 24-date trek across the eastern half of North America is a February 2 romp at Boston’s MGM Music Hall at Fenway. Earlier this year, the band released a pair of tracks, “Get Out” and “Congratulations & Condolences,” both of which are b-sides from the Michigan band’s 2022 album Stress Dreams. Give “Get Out” a spin below. Mandolin player and vocalist Paul Hoffman sets it up: “‘Get Out’ is anchored in internal reflection but also includes commentary on our society’s struggle to better itself. Recognizing patterns in our behavior doesn’t always make them easy to correct.” Tickets go on sale Friday (November 3) at 10 a.m. local time.
