She may have “Nothing to Lose,” as one track on her sophomore album Sorry I Haven’t Called asserts, but Somerville certainly has everything to gain tonight (October 26) by catching Vagabon at the Crystal Ballroom.
Last month, we highlighted the Cameroonian-American musician’s latest release, praising its “rich, danceable sound” and honest portrayals of modern human connection. The album makes easy work of the balance between raw emotion and musical enjoyment, and Vagabon is sure to do the same on stage.
Joining Vagabon is Nourished by Time, the synth-driven dance-influenced project of Marcus Brown operating from Baltimore by way of London. Brown recently released his debut full-length album, Erotic Probiotic 2, via Scenic Route Records.
