The Boston Red Sox season may be over, but Fenway Park’s 2024 concert calendar is busy adding highlights for next year. And now we can add Foo Fighters to the lineup.
Dave Grohl’s rock and roll survivalists revealed their 2024 stadium tour on Monday (October 2), and included in the dozen dates is a July 21 romp at The Cathedral of Boston. Opening the show will be The Hives and Amyl and the Sniffers.
Foo Fighters last played Fenway Park back in 2018 — Vanyaland coverage: Live Review x Photo Gallery — and headlined Boston Calling earlier this year. The band will kick off the U.S. leg of the Everything or Nothing at All Tour with two shows at Citi Field in New York City, and cross the country before wrapping August 18 in Seattle.
The Foo Fighters date joins a trio of Fenway shows already planned for the ’24 summer season: Watertown resident Noah Kahan will play a doubleheader at Fenway on July 18 and 19, and Kane Brown will hold court on July 21. Check the Foos’ full run of shows below.
