Michelle Buteau is bringing a ‘Full Heart, Tight Jeans’ to Chevalier Theatre

Via Bill Blumenreich Presents

Anyone evenly remotely familiar with the comedic force of Michelle Buteau, knows she’s always one to bring it. With her return to the area now imminent, she’s once again equipped with some high-potency stand-up fury, and she’s delivering some additional effects along.

As announced earlier this week, Buteau is making her way back to town as part of her Full Heart, Tight Jeans tour with one show at Medford’s Chevalier Theatre on November 3. The last time Buteau threw down in the city was in 2021 when she hit The Wilbur. Most recently, Buteau has continued to sell out theaters all over the country with her high-octane comedy, and has also brought that energy to the streaming world with the premiere of her Netflix comedy series Survival of the Thickest earlier this past summer. The show is Buteau’s second major project with Netflix, as she also released her first hour, Welcome To Buteaupia in 2021.

There are very few comics who can split a room as quickly and fiercely as Jessica Kirson, and she’s prepping to do it even harder when she makes her way to The Wilbur on February 3. Following the release of her debut hour, Talking To Myself in 2020, Kirson also produced the FX documentary Hysterical, and released a prank call comedy album, The Call Girls in collaboration with fellow comic Rachel Feinstein in 2021. She also currently hosts two hit podcasts, Disgusting Hawk and Relatively Sane.

Is that Howard Stern? Sebastian Maniscalco? Mitch McConnell? Nah, that’s Matt Friend, but his impression game is so on-point that you could swear you were in the room with a myriad of stars. Making his way to Somerville’s Crystal Ballroom on March 1, the viral impressionist has been on the grind in the stand-up scene for the last few years, and has even headlined a few legendary rooms, including Caroline’s on Broadway.

Additionally, Trey Kennedy is getting into the lunch time comedy biz with a newly added 3 p.m. matinee show tacked on to his Chevalier Theatre stop on November 19.

Presale tickets for these shows can be accessed via The Regulars presale now, and by using the Wilbur presale code VANYA starting at 10 a.m. ET Thursday (September 21), before tickets go on sale to the general public starting today with the Kennedy show, which goes on sale at 10 a.m. ET, while Buteau, Kirson, and Friend all go on sale on Friday (September 22) at noon ET.
