Just over the past few years, Hasan Minhaj has emerged as a comedic force with his challenging of countless aspects found within our culture and political climate. As he fires up the machine to unleash his third full hour, there will undoubtedly be haters calling for him to quiet down, but Minhaj is coming back better than ever.
As announced earlier this week, Minhaj will be bringing a brand new hour of his heavy-hitting comedy and social commentary, dubbed Off With His Head, to a few select cities this fall and winter, including one night at Boston’s Wang Theatre on December 8. It will mark Minhaj’s first visit to The Wang, and his latest tour stop in the area following a sold-out run of his previous show, The King’s Jester in 2021.
Since then, The King’s Jester became the former Daily Show correspondent’s second full-length Netflix special in 2022, joining his 2017 special, Homecoming King, on the platform. In addition to his critically acclaimed work on stage, Minhaj also hosted his own talk show, The Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj on Netflix from 2018 to 2020, for which he won a Peabody Award in 2019.
Additionally, Mike Birbiglia has added a 7 p.m. show at The Wilbur on December 16, as part of his Christmas Parmesan homecoming, while Jared Freid is prolonging his own Wilbur homecoming with a 10 p.m. late show on February 23.
Presale tickets for Minhaj can be accessed now by using the code HASAN. Presale tickets for the Birbiglia and Freid shows can accessed via The Regulars presale now, and by using the presale code VANYA starting at 10 a.m. ET on Thursday (September 7), before all three shows go on sale to the general public on Friday (September 8) at 10 a.m. ET.
